“APT” was one of the biggest songs of 2024 and it continues its journey to 2025 as still one of the most beloved songs by the general public. BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ chemistry was the perfect recipe for success and made her earn a second Guinness record this year.
On January 25, the idol wowed fans after earning a new Guinness World Record achievement never seen before in Kpop, making her a five-time world record holder! The Guinness World Records announced that Rosé is now the first K-Pop artist to reach number one on the Apple Music Top 100 Global Chart.
The announcement marks confirmation of the record she broke on October 24 last year, topping the chart with “APT.” The idol topped the national charts from Venezuela to Australia. In addition, she has broken tens of records over the last couple of weeks on international charts.
2025 looks like a promising year for BLACKPINK’s Rosé as she is still promoting her new album, “Rosie.” Do you think she will be able to earn a third Guinness Record before the year ends?
