The Kpop idols are well known for their stunning visuals and beautiful social media accounts. Since TikTok was banned in the United States for a couple of hours, Instagram decided to change the aesthetic of its posts and be awkwardly similar to TikTok. However, the decision deeply affected some of the aesthetics of major idols.

aespa: Despite the girls always giving these futuristic visuals, this is another level compared to some quirky elements in their music videos. The low-key vibe is very Vespa-esque.

BLACKPINK: The widely popular girl group survived most of the distortion. However, Jennie’s “You & Me” collage garnered attention because of the Instagram update’s funny outcome

EXO’s Chanyeol: The idol looks so weird after Instagram’s new update. The collage didn’t fit into anybody’s expectations and became the talk of the town because of the funny visuals.
