King Charles III is set to kick off 2025 with a visit to Auschwitz to mark the 80th Anniversary of Liberation: “Never Be Forgotten.” The King is prioritizing his public appearances to shut down the ongoing rumors about a possible abdication to the throne.

On January 27, the Monarch of the United Kingdom will head to the event, where he will meet with the president of the Republic of Poland, Mr Andrzej Duda. The event pretends to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.

Despite King Charles III’s ongoing cancer treatment, he will travel to Poland along with leaders from around the world. This marks Charles III’s fifth visit to Poland since he traveled there in 2018 with Queen Camilla Parker.

The news of his visit came ahead of the King hosting a Holocaust Education event at Buckingham Palace on Monday, January 13, 2025. Charles will meet Manfred Goldberg, who survived concentration camps.
