After a successful run that started a few weeks ago with actor Timothée Chalamet’s lookalike event, now a trend has been created on social media where they are organizing events or contests searching for the lookalikes of celebrities such as Zayn Malik, Zendaya, Jeremy Allen White and now the lovely Jungkook from BTS.

It was only a matter of time before this trend began to dominate the K-pop industry. In a recent social media post, it was revealed that a BTS’ Jungkook lookalike contest will be held in the United States, specifically in the cosmopolitan city of Chicago.

It’s no secret that ARMY, the name of the BTS fandom, is always on trend and they wasted no time in announcing the contest to find Jungkook’s lookalike in Chicago, United States. This event will be held at Ping Tom Memorial Park on November 24, where the winner will win $20, a bottle of Soju and of course go viral on social media.

Moreover, fans couldn’t help but make awesome jokes about it in the comments of the announcement: “The winner will take his place in the army!”, “The winner spends a night in my room”, “Jaehyun, you have a chance to do something really fun”, while some others commented that the real winner is the wife of actor Shim Hyung Tak.
