Layover 🆕— KOREAN SALES (@koreansales_twt) October 9, 2024
This milestone was seen coming when in ‘Layover’ release date on September 8th last year, it got the first spot on Japan’s Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking‘ chart with 221,491 copies sold and then becoming the highest ranking for a K-pop solo artist in Japan in 2023.
Now, despite the idol is currently fulfilling his military service in South Korea, he has managed to get more milestones with his vinyl version of the album and many others that make him deserving of this Platinum certification, of which his fans worldwide are very proud.
