Kate Middleton has been out of the public eye since December 2023 due to a major abdominal surgery and subsequently, preventive chemotherapy. The Princess disclosed her medical diagnosis in March 2024, and since then, her absence has been completely notorious inside the British Monarchy. However, she might be back sooner than everyone expected.
On September 9, the Princess of Wales released an emotional video message featuring Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to state she finished chemotherapy.
“As the summer ends, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed it. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change instantly and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
She even explained her cancer journey has been scary, complex, and unpredictable for everyone, particularly for those who are closest to her. Kate Middleton’s last nine months have become a special place to reflect and be grateful for life’s simple yet important things, of being loved and of simply loving.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”
