Sabrina Carpenter just hit a major milestone—her new album “Short n’ Sweet” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking her first time topping the chart. With 362,000 equivalent album units sold, the album debuted atop of the tally following intense competition.

These sweet results for Sabrina Carpenter come after an epic chart battle with Travis Scott, who re-released his 2014 mixtape “Days Before Rodeo,” snagging the No. 2 spot by just a few thousand units. The rapper’s album had never been officially released before and with 361,000 units sold, it’s officially the year’s biggest week for a rap album.

The competition between these two was fueled by social media, with big names like Taylor Swift and Ye throwing their support behind Sabrina Carpenter and Travis Scott, respectively. Fans were glued to their screens, watching the chart battle unfold. In the end, “Short n’ Sweet” claimed victory, but both records battled up until the end.
