Recent reports revealed that BTS‘ member Suga could face another legal problem after his drunk driving controversy according to the vehicle he was using, which could earn him a significant punishment for breaking the law in South Korea.

On August 19th, debate has risen regarding the specifications of the electric scooter operated by the rapper at the time of his DUI incident, as according to new statements, the vehicle requires official registration through the use of a legal license plate.

However, taking into account CCTV images of Suga at the time of driving the scooter, viewers stated that “It is unclear whether or not a license plate is attached to the scooter“, which could lead to additional fines for the K-Pop idol.

If this is true and the vehicle is an ‘electric scooter’ and not an ‘electric kickboard’ as BTS agency BIGHIT Music said, and if it is found by the police that it is not insured, further fines could apply as motor-vehicle laws demand compulsory auto liability coverage of all vehicle users.
