Taylor Swift‘s “The Tortured Poets Department” and Ty Dolla Sign and Kanye West‘s “Vultures 2” are facing off a serious chart battle for the #1 album in the United States. While Taylor’s album has become the most successful this year, the release of the rappers’ project is throwing it back to their previous feuds!
Currently, Ty Dolla Sign and Kanye West’s album is only available in digital format at $5. To boost sales, Ye dropped a deluxe edition featuring an exclusive track “Take Off Your Dress,” only available to purchase through his website.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s massive record has spent 13 non-consecutive weeks at first place on the Billboard 200, and she’s not giving up without a fight. A new digital version of the album was revealed on her website over the weekend. She also made a 13% discount on all physical variants of her album, quickly selling out CDS, cassettes, and vinyl.

The race for first place in the Billboard 200 continues to be tight, with both artists applying market strategies to boost their sales. If the difference between the two remains by a small amount, both artists will most likely drop new versions of their records or will make discounts to secure the #1.
