New statements have emerged from a royal expert who revealed that Prince William “couldn’t stand” the current Queen Camilla and why this changed some time later, resulting in a beneficial union for the monarchy.
It was Hilary Fordwich, who said to Fox News Digital, “Prince William initially couldn’t stand Camilla“. However, with the passage of time, it seems that he has come to appreciate the qualities of his stepmother and have done their part to leave behind for the best of the crown.
So Fordwich, who said that although William could not stand the queen in the past, “He has come to appreciate her steadfast dedication to duty“, which was the first reason for the Prince of Wales to trust more in his stepmother and her ability to deal with the royal commitments she was acquiring.
It is also a reality that both Prince William and Camilla have acquired during these months the full weight of the crown, and for Fordwich, this has impacted positively on their relationship, as he revealed: “They have become closer and have bonded over their spouses coping with cancer treatment“.
