Prince William has been at the forefront of the Royal Family for the last couple of months since King Charles III and Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis. The Prince has assured to prove all of his potential as the next monarch of the United Kingdom, and he already has another royal duty to fulfill.
It was reported that Prince William replaced Prince Philip as the Royal Family’s Disciplinarian. Although King Charles III may head up the British monarchy, lead state dinners, and get massive celebrations in his honor, William is the disciplinarian behind closed doors.
According to the Daily Beast’s report on the Royal Family’s power dynamics, William became the family’s enforcer filling a position once held by his grandfather, husband to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Ultimately, Prince William is calling the shots to fulfill Prince Philip’s duty.
“There is a sense that William has stepped into the Prince Philip role. Philip ruled the family with a rod of iron and you saw when he died that discipline collapsed.”
