Taylor Swift fans were in for a treat during the second date of her “Eras Tour” Amsterdam shows! The pop diva decided to play “Mary’s Song” for the first time in 16 years, making her sold-out crowd buzz with excitement. She also delivered a surprise mashup that included “So High School,” and “Everything Has Changed.”
But surprises don’t end there! When she sang the closing lyrics of “Mary’s Song,” fans could not help but think she was serenading her boyfriend, NLF star Travis Kelce. Since the pair started dating, the track has taken on new significance. Fans went wild connecting Kelce’s jersey number, 87, and Swift’s birth year, 1989:
“I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89 / I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my my my.”
The football player was right there to witness the special moment, becoming a regular at Taylor Swift’s record-breaking stadium tour. Among the audience were Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany. The night was definitely a blend of nostalgia, romance, and music.
