On June 25th, Princess Beatrice officially replaced Prince William for the first time, sending a clear message about her role in the British monarchy now that King Charles III has significantly reduced his schedule of royal engagements, like Kate Middelton.
Despite not being considered a working royal, Princess Beatrice was present at the Earthshot Prize event, which Prince William founded in 2020, which could mean that the palace has finally taken into account how beneficial the monarch’s niece’s help could be in these difficult times.
A close friend of Beatrice told the Daily Beast, “It seems to mean that the girls aren’t being used at all when they have made it clear they want to be of service, especially when Prince Andrew has been accepted back into the fold, they have done nothing wrong and they shouldn’t be visited with the sins of their father“.
With King Charles III unable to fulfill all his royal engagements, Kate Middleton absent with cancer, and Princess Anne on bed rest after being hit in the head, Prince William may be considering other members of the family for a role in the British monarchy.
