We’ve got really cool news for horror and fantasy fans! An upcoming horror movie will be bringing together starts from “House of the Dragon” and “Lord of the Rings.” This crossover has fans buzzing with anticipation, who are also eager to learn how is it that these two cast members will interpret their brand-new roles in the movie.

We are talking about actress Morfydd Clark, who played a lead role in “The Rings of Power” and Matt Smith, who is prominently featured in the “Game of Thrones” spin-off, named House of the Dragon. The pair will be joining forces for “Starve Acre,” which is set to be a supernatural horror film written and directed by Daniel Kokotajlo. In spite of it just being announced, it’s still making a big buzz for fans!

It appears to be that the movie will be an adaptation of a 2019 novel of the same name, written by Andrew Michael Hurley. The motion picture will be set in the 1970s England and its plot revolves around a couple, Richard (Smith) and Juliette (Clark) who share the most perfect and idyllic life until their bond is cracked when their child dies unexpectedly. Both find themselves drifting apart as they each grapple with the tragedy in their own ways.

In order to cope with the pain, Richard becomes obsessed with a local myth about a supernatural tree on their Starve Acre estate. In contrast, Juliette decides to seek help with her local community. However, they will soon encounter that there is something sinister and evil behind their lives.

The upcoming film seems to be extremely promising and will probably be a must-watch! Let us know if you will give it a shot in the comments below.
