There has been a ton of backlash against Spanish football player Gerard Piqué as a result of recent comments he made for the daily El Paso. They have, however, also given rise to a new rumor, which would be that the Catalan is divorcing both his ex-partner Shakira and his new girlfriend, the young Colombian singer-songwriter Clara Chia Marti.
Social media is raging against the Catalan after the former Barcelona FC star discussed his thoughts on the harsh criticism he has received from Shakira, the public, and the media.
Fans of Shakira believe it is abhorrent that Piqué implied during the interview that “he does take care of his children;” “Taking care of children is a parental responsibility,” the Spaniard said.
Another rumor has surfaced, and because of a recent photo of him and Clara Chia, the international press has started to conjecture that he is divorcing the 23-year-old worker of his business Kosmos.
Several media outlets have also discussed some of the recent disagreements the pair has had. According to reports, Clara is “tired” of the ongoing criticism she has received in recent months from the Spanish and foreign press.
Other factors, though, might corroborate their impending breakup. The sportsman does not currently have children scheduled for his life, so one of them would be the young woman’s desire to have children.
Since Clara Chia Marti and Gerard Piqué haven’t been spotted together as much as they used to, it’s possible that things between them are not going well.
