This is the third year that BTS has participated in the Grammy Awards as a nominee. The k-pop boyband has added countless trophies and records in their prolific career; however, the golden gramophone has eluded them so far.

This 2023, the work of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook will once again be recognized at the United States awards show, which will reveal its results on Sunday, February 5th.

Although winning a Grammy is not a dream come true for the members of BTS (as they commented several times), being nominated five times is already a solid indication of the reach of their music in the Western industry. If they win the Grammy this year, they would be the first KPOP band to do so.

.

Three other Korean artists, including soprano Sumi Jo, have been awarded the Grammy in the past; however, the awards were only in the classical music field.

The name of BTS or its members has been cited in three categories: best pop duo or group performance, best music video and in the album of the year section. The competition will not be easy, as they share space with successful hits and artists.

Will the Recording Academy members vote for BTS? Which category has the best chance of winning? The final decision will be revealed tomorrow, Sunday, February 5th at the Grammy ceremony.
