Right now, many celebrities are living a delicate moment, as the rains in California have put millionaire mansions in danger.

It was through networks that many celebrities showed how dangerous the area where they were, so they had to look for a safer place to take shelter while everyone returned to normal.

The Californian town of Montecito, has been the subject of an evacuation order on Monday due to landslide fears. The city is expected to receive about 200 millimeters of rain in 24 hours, on hillsides already flooded by weeks of downpours.

“Montecito is under mandatory evacuation. We are on higher ground, so we were asked to shelter in place. Please stay safe everyone,” Ellen Degeneres tweeted.

Among the artists with a mansion in Montecito, California, are Prince Harry and his wife, Ellen Degeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston, Larry David, Gwyneth Paltrow, Katy Perry y Rob Lowe, entre otros.

“Two major torrential rain events and heavy mountain snowfall are expected to affect California in rapid succession over the next two days in connection with two of the most energetic and moisture-laden cyclones pointed directly toward California,” the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Governor Gavin Newsom announced a state of emergency last week.

“The cumulative effect of successive heavy rains will lead to more flooding,” the weather service warned. “This includes rapid rises in water, landslides, and the possibility of large river floods. Susceptible land and areas near recent fires will be most at risk from debris flows and swift currents.”
