Recently, the most famous Colombian singer in the world, Shakira, revealed when talking about her song “Can’t Remember to Forget You”, which she produced with the iconic Rihanna, in which appear very sexy scenes of both singers, that she had to ask permission to her husband at the time, Gerard Piqué, for the recording.
She mentions that the father of her children was a very “jealous and territorial” person, so she had to have his approval for such decisions.
While the Colombian was speaking on the radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, where she mentioned the song, she said:
Obviously I asked him before I made the decision to do the video which, of course, I knew that some people weren’t going to like it very much. But because he was supportive and encouraged me to do it from the beginning, I didn’t think it was going to generate that much buzz either. Considering that Piqué is a very jealous and territorial man, who always likes to have everything under control, having his approval made everything much easier.
