American actor Johnny Depp has once again mocked his ex-wife Amber Heard’s inability to keep the promises she made years ago after divorcing the Pirates of the Caribbean star, who has now taken it upon herself to make good on the promises she originally made.
After reaching an agreement in which Amber Heard will pay him only one million dollars for defaming him, actor Johnny Depp has made a clever decision that is undoubtedly issued in turn in a form of mockery to his ex-partner.
Johnny and his successful team of lawyers have issued a statement announcing that the actor has pledged to donate that amount to a “real” charity.
Amber Heard, had committed to give money she had received as part of her divorce settlement with the interpreter of the iconic ‘Jack Sparrow’ to different charities.
The total amount to be donated by the interpreter of ‘Mera’ in Aquaman was 7 million dollars; 3.5 million to a children’s hospital in Los Angeles and the same amount to the American Civil Liberties Union.
That, unsurprisingly, never happened and never happened. For this reason, Johnny Depp’s legal representatives also directly accused the interpreter of not being the one to pay the expenses.
Meanwhile, when the agreement that Amber Heard and Johnny Depp made to close their long-running and media-heavy legal trial was made official, the actress took to her official Instagram account to state the following:
“After much deliberation, I have made the very difficult decision to settle the defamation case brought against me by my ex-husband. For too many years I have been caged in an arduous and costly legal process that has proven unable to protect me and my right to free speech.
I cannot afford to risk an impossible bill, one that is not only financial, but also psychological, physical and emotional,” said the actress.
