“Stay Alive?” Rather, “Stay Winning”. BTS’ new song is breaking multiple streaming and chart records!
“Stay Alive,” a solo song by Jungkook and produced by Suga, was created for 7FATES: CHAKHO. “Stay Alive” was released on Webtoon on February 5th and was released on streaming platforms on February 11th.
It debuted at No.8 on Billboard Global 200 (excluding US) chart, making it the first song by a Korean male solo artist to enter the Top 10. “Stay Alive” is also Jungkook’s first solo song to break into the Top 10. debut on Billboard Hot 100 chart! It debuted at No.95.

On Spotify, “Stay Alive” broke streaming records. Jungkook had the biggest debut day (4.2 million streams) as well as the biggest debut week (18.8 million) by an Asian solo artist.

Thanks to “Stay Alive,” Jungkook is now the first Asian solo artist to spend three days debuting in Spotify’s Global Top 10. The song also became the solo song with the most iTunes No. 1s in 24 hours and became the fastest solo song in history to hit 100 #1s on iTunes. Jungkook is now the only Asian solo artist in iTunes history to spend five days at No. 1 in the world!
