Notable Japanese performers and artists from other countries were summoned for the voices.
Singer-songwriter AI, Motohiro Hata, Little Glee Monster, Daichi Miura, Perfume, SHINee’s Taemin, Miyavi, rapper Nasty C, Sabrina Carpenter, Ayumu Imazu, duet Blue Vintage, Mizki (Mizuki Nakamoto), Sanari, and Chikuzen Sato are collaborating on the song inspired by the olympic spirit. The general producer of “Colorful” is Ryosuke Imai, who described the concept of the song this way.
