Six days after BLINK discovered BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Rosé in the United States, the agency YG Entertainment ruled on the reason for the trip. Some fans would have been correct in pointing out that the girls left South Korea for work.
On June 25, Rosé and Jennie were spotted at a children’s clothing store in the West Hollywood, Los Angeles area. The video was released by The Hollywood Fix portal and showed the two K-pop artists leaving the premises.
The group’s fans were surprised, as the BLACKPINK members went unnoticed at the South Korean airport and no one imagined that they were visiting the United States.
When the video of Jennie and Rosé’s shopping went viral, there were many questions from fans. Why had they traveled to America? Were they just on vacation? BLINK also speculated about collaborations in progress with some western artist.

Meanwhile, this Friday, July 2, a YG Entertainment official told Top Star News: “Rosé and Jennie are visiting the United States to work on music.” No further details of the project are known.
