BLACKPINK fans are good when it comes to defending the girls.
The fandom known as BLINKS are one of the largest in the world and this Tuesday, February 2, several hashtags related to Lisa became a trend on Twitter. After the rapper and dancer was the victim of mass xenophobia and racist comments on social networks.
There are already repeated times in which Lisa is pointed out by many Internet users, usually Korean; and the hateful comments were directed at her for the sole reason that she was the only non-Korean member.
After this, thousands of fans came out in defense of the singer after the impressions of a chat went viral on the web. In the conversation you can read offensive messages about the singer, implying that she “would not be worth anything.” Besides saying that the country of origin of the singer, which is Thailand, is “useless.”
STOP RACISM

All this to the fans of BLACKPINK, who brought the hashtag “RespectLisa” to the trending topics of Twitter. The discontent of the Internet users was evident and many people decided to share messages of support and affection.
The labels “STOP RACISM”, “WE LOVE U LISA“, “Say No to Racism” and “WE STAND YOU LISA” also went viral on the social network of the blue bird.
Most of the toxicity on social media comes from obsessive fans. Celebrities are human and deserve empathy and respect like everyone else.
