Actor-director Jake Ryan, 41, introduced the sketch show for the first time on the January 30 broadcast of the stand-up show. During Krasinski’s appearance on the show, the SNL crew kept asking the actor questions about his hit show The Office, mistaking him for his character Jim Halpert.

When John didn’t understand why the crew kept meddling, Pete Davidson came out to explain the confusion. Davidson said that due to the quarantine, people have been obsessed with The Office while they were stuck at home, so now they only see John as Jim. As a method to resolve confusion; Pete Davidson suggested that he should “just kiss” Pam Beesly (aka Jenna Fischer), who played Jim Halpert’s love interest on the show.
Since Jenna wasn’t there, John grabbed Pete’s face and gave him a big kiss on the lips. In other related news, in December, Emily Blunt spoke about her quarantine with her husband John Krasinski.
